SW/HW CDM Asset Manager

Hardware / Software Asset Management program of a large enterprise should work is needed to support the team. The ideal candidate for this job will be an experienced Asset Manager with a cyber security mindset who is goal-oriented and strives to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Candidate will assess security’s ability to discover changes to hardware and software assets through performing network analysis, problem identification, and solution design.
  • Architect new, innovative ways to ensure the hardware and software data accuracy.
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the analysis of tool outputs and providing recommendations for improving the overall security posture.

Required Skills:
  • The position requires U.S. Person status or a Non-U.S. Person be eligible to obtain Authorization
  • Clear understanding of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Cyber Program for Asset Management
  • Develop, refine, and plan for future iterations the Asset Management program
  • Develop and enforce an authorized software program to expand Software Management to build baseline and manage the changes within
  • General understanding of how automated asset discovery tools work, the data captured, and translation to how the data can be utilized.
  • Ability to analyze the current implemented solution, identify gaps, and create solution recommendations.
  • Ability to translate customers’ and users’ requirements into technical specifications to be implemented by an automation team.
  • Ability to review, produce and make recommended edits to Splunk Dashboards
  • Analyze data imports into Splunk for accuracy and completeness
  • Engages with other internal and external forces to get and share information to improve processes and security posture

Desired Skills:
  • Familiarity with Splunk, ServiceNow, and enterprise network infrastructures
  • Experience with ForeScout CounterACT, Cisco ISE, MobileIron, BDNA, BMC Discovery, SCCM, and Tanium
  • Project planning experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Microsoft office suite of applications

CISSP, CIPP, PMP, CRISC, CSAM, Six Sigma (master black belt), Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), SFCP, GCIA, ISSEP, ISSMP, GCIH, GCFA, CSLC, CISM, CCNA, CCNP
